Frost Firm Acquires Ervin & Co. CPAs

Frost PLLC of Little Rock announced it has acquired Ervin & Co. CPAs PA of Fayetteville.

Frost is the second-largest accounting firm in the state with 49 CPAs on staff, and is the largest Arkansas-based accounting firm in the state.

“The Ervin firm has been a leader in employing new technologies to serve their clients more efficiently; they are a perfect fit for our business and Northwest Arkansas is important to the firm’s growth,” said Daniel Peregrin, managing member of Frost. “With our consolidated resources in Fayetteville, we believe we can better serve clients in the region.”

Formerly Moore Stephens Frost, the firm changed its name in December when it acquired Lynch & Howard of Raleigh, N.C., and Rick J. Tanneberger CPA PA of Fayetteville.

Frost’s practice serves industries such as financial institutions, government and nonprofit, processing and manufacturing, construction, food processing and real estate. Ervin’s practice mirrored many of those industries and included retail, restaurants and litigation support.

“We believe our services augment those offered by Frost, and we are looking forward to being able to offer clients a greater complement of services than ever before,” said John Ervin.

Frost was ranked as the No. 4 firm in Northwest Arkansas in June with eight CPAs on staff. Ervin was ranked No. 5 with five CPAs on staff
