Fort Smith native promoted in central Arkansas

Lisa Murphy, the daughter of Maxine and John Bell of Fort Smith, has been promoted to rehabilitation area manager beginning Oct. 18 for Arkansas Rehabilitation Services. Murphy, who is a certified rehabilitation counselor, will oversee the organization’s offices in Conway, Lonoke and North Little Rock.
Murphy has been with ARS for 18 years, working primarily in central Arkansas. She earned a bachelor’s degree in rehabilitation science from Arkansas Tech University and a master’s in education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Arkansas Rehabilitation Services is a statewide agency which helps individuals with disabilities with the goal of helping them to gain or retain employment.
