Former Arkansas QB Gets Engaged

Former Arkansas Razorbacks quarterback Matt Jones has been unable to land an NFL gig since being let go by the Jacksonville Jaguars, but he’s apparently gotten lucky in love.

We’re told Jones is engaged to a young lady named Caroline Phillips and the two will take their vows in March. Phillips is from the Camden area and her father is a Baptist preacher.

Given Jones’ well-documented off-the-field troubles, we’re sure some readers might be expecting a punch line right about now. We, however, wish the couple nothing but the best.
