Bauman’s men’s store at The Shoppes at Pinnacle Hills not only has a new owner, but soon might have more space.

Donny Hubbard, who has been a partner in Bauman’s since its Northwest Arkansas inception in 2006, purchased the local branch of the Little Rock-based business in late October. Now he’s already working plans to double the store’s space to about 3,000 SF.

The most appealing part of the addition might be the planned VIP lounge.

‘It’ll be a place for good customers to hang out, have a cocktail, look at some clothes, maybe watch a game,’ Hubbard said.

Though Bauman’s now will be locally owned, it will offer ‘the exact same brands’ of men’s apparel. That includes Oxxford, Brioni, and other brands of which Bauman’s owns proprietary rights.

Hubbard also said foot traffic has doubled – resulting in increased sales – since the store was moved to its current location on June 1.
