Bankrupt Lawyer

One of the lawyers that signed a counterclaim for Gary Combs was David Fisher of Bentonville, who also does business as David Fisher PLLC.

In what, unfortunately for all, has become far too common, his name popped up in bankruptcy court.

Fisher and his wife filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy on Oct. 31. He claimed total assets of $377,272 and liabilities of $794,863. Fisher’s monthly income was claimed to be $21,030 and expenses are itemized at $21,341. His creditors include American Express and Signature Bank of Arkansas.

Fisher also had an eyebrow-raising item in his exempt property claim: two Tasers.
