Memory screenings are a significant first step toward finding out if a person has a memory problem. Memory problems could be caused by Alzheimer’s disease or other medical conditions.

The face-to-face screenings are administered by qualified healthcare professionals, consist of a series of questions and tasks, and take about five to ten minutes.

The screenings are not a diagnosis; individuals with below- normal scores or those who still have concerns are encouraged to pursue further medical evaluation.

This event is also intended to educate the public about successful aging, including the benefits of proper diet, physical exercise, mental stimulation and stress management.
