Pratt Place Praised by AAA

It appears Fayetteville’s Pratt Place Inn has joined some select company.

We recently heard the boutique hotel, located on Sassafras Hill just a mile west of the University of Arkansas, has garnered a four-diamond rating by the American Automobile Association. That makes Pratt Place just the fourth such hotel in Arkansas — and only one in Northwest Arkansas — to receive that distinction.
r
“Fundamental hallmarks at this level include an extensive array of amenities combined with a high degree of hospitality, service, and attention to detail,” the AAA’s Web site explains in relation to the four-diamond rating.

Translation: Pratt Place is nice. Very nice.

One example of the manner in which the hotel, owned by Julian and Jane Archer, blends charm with modern convenience are the antique armoires that hide flat-screen televisions in all seven suites. There also is an adjoining two-bedroom cottage, and more than 8,000 SF of meeting space that includes Pratt Place Barn, an increasingly popular spot for weddings.
