With just about every news outlet in Northwest Arkansas using Twitter, we thought we’d see which ones are using it the most effectively. Twitter Grader scores Twitter profiles based on the number of followers and the level of community engagement.

We plugged in a few names and found that KHBS-KHOG, Channels 40/29 has a Twitter grade of 99.5, ranking 20,707 out of 4.4 million Twitter users. KNWA-TV had a score of 97.5. The Northwest Arkansas Times’ Twitter feed earned a score of 99.3 and The Morning News earned a 97.1. Just for comparative purposes, The New York Times had a perfect score of 100 and ranks No. 2 overall.
