We’re putting Stitt Energy Systems, Rockfish Interactive, Don’s Cold Storage & Transportation, and Brick Street Botanical at or near the top of the list.

They were the first to get on-board with the Rogers-Lowell Chamber of Commerce’s partnership with the Institute for Sustainable Development, a collective of chambers, universities, and business and philanthropic foundations designed to promote small companies committed to green practices.

Under the program, businesses go through an online certification process that includes documenting their sustainable policies and practices.

The Green Plus accreditation should help local businesses distinguish themselves among both their competitors and customers, said Bethany Stephens,Rogers-Lowell Chamber vice president.
