Peachtree to provide working caregiver support

Peachtree Hospice in Fort Smith has been selected as one of 35 providers nationwide to partner with the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organizations Workplace Outreach Initiative. The partnership will help Peachtree provide education and information to local employers who have working family caregivers in their employment and struggle to balance work-life issues everyday.
“It’s About How You Live — At Work,” is funded by the Jacob & Valeria Langeloth Foundation. The goal is to increase awareness about the needs of working caregivers who struggle with work-life balance while taking care of their ill, elderly or frail family members. It also provides support for employers with working caregivers.
