Kemp Holden Jr., pastor of Harvest Time for 38 years, officially passed the “baton” of leadership to Marty Sloan during an Aug. 9 ceremony at the church.

Sloan, a native of Ohio, joined the joined the Harvest Time staff four years ago when hired as the associate pastor. The church — located at 3100 Briar Cliff Ave. in Fort Smith — has more than 3,000 members, according to the church statement announcing the pastor transition.
