Genealogy 101: Tracing Your Roots
The U.S. Marshals Museum is sponsoring a genealogy workshop, titled “Genealogy 101: Tracing Your Roots.” The workshop will feature speakers from local and national institutions. Sessions will appeal to beginners as well as those more experienced at genealogy.
The event’s keynote speaker, Christine Rose, is well-known across the country. She is the author of many books including The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Genealogy. One of Ms. Rose’s areas of expertise is courthouses and she has conducted research in more than 500 courthouses in the United States.
The workshop is scheduled from 9a to 4:30p with check-in/registration beginning at 8:30a.

•How to Research U.S. Marshals-David Turk, Historian, U.S. Marshals Service and Bob Ernst, Researcher
