A Razorback bargain

San Francisco-based StubHub released Wednesday (Aug. 26) its list of the top 20 best football ticket values for the 2009 college football season, with Arkansas ranked 14th on the list — which may be as close as the team gets to a top 10 ranking for the season.

StubHub, which claims to be the world’s largest ticket marketplace, said its ranking is based on current average selling prices for tickets sold through the company as of Aug. 25.

“Many of them are ranked in the preseason Top 25 polls, while others offer substantial values with a very attractive schedule of home games,” StubHub said of the teams in its top 20 list. “Leading the way as the best value in college football for 2009 is the University of Illinois Fighting Illini, a team that boasts a home schedule of powerhouse Big Ten teams yet is still a sleeper pick to challenge for the conference title.”
