Rogers Company Helps Streamline Home-buying Process
No one can blame Tim Lee if the housing market doesn’t perk up soon.
We mentioned Lee, CEO of Revolution Technologies LLC of Rogers, in our last issue after we learned about the new product his company is offering. The product is designed to give potential homebuyers more research tools, and improve communication lines with their agents, via the Internet.
This time around, Lee is in the process of putting potential homebuyers “one click away from starting the financial process” by working on sponsorship deals with local banks and mortgage companies. In return for the sponsorship, those businesses get an ad — in the form of a mortgage calculator — on one or more of the Web sites RT maintains. The calculators are linked to the bank sites.
Lee’s in talks with a handful of banks and mortgage companies, trying to cement their interest by giving them the results other advertisers already are reaping. According to Lee’s statistics, an insurance agent in Rogers has received about 1 million views on a single site over the past seven months. Another local company advertising on 15 sites received 525,000 views in just 35 days.
If banks and mortgage companies are looking for customers, and homebuyers are looking for favorable rates, and we think that’s the case, they might have found a good meeting place.
