Northwest Arkansas is still feeling the pain from the January ice storm.

The Lake Wedington recreation area west of Fayetteville will be closed until Sept. 1, according to the U.S. Forest Service.

Apparently there is still too much ice storm damage in the popular swimming area. Those looking for relief from the 90-degree temperatures will have to find another place to cool off.
