Clinard Breaks Ground on Women’s Health Care Facility (Real Deals)

Clinard Construction recently broke ground on a $2.2 million facility for Lifespring Women’s Healthcare in Bentonville.

The 11,950-SF facility will be located at 1200 S.E. 28th Street. The facility will be a LEED-certified green construction building. It will include space for up to five obstetrician/gynecologists and an onsite laboratory.

Construction is expected to be completed by fall. Lifespring will relocate from its current facilities at 2900 Medical Parkway in Bentonville.

Osbornes Sell Clear Creek Home
Aaron and Christie Osborne recently sold their home in the Clear Creek subdivision of Johnson for $2.19 million. Heather M. Bell, through The AOA Trust, purchased the 7,294-SF home at 5132 Prestwick Circle as well as the adjacent lot.

The home and adjacent lot were listed for $2.8 million. The home last appraised in 2008 for $1.4 million and the adjacent lot last appraised in 2007 for $180,000.

The Osbornes purchased both lots in 2004 for a total of $330,000.

The home was built in 2006 and features six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and a swimming pool.

Dickson Street Space Leased to Fitness Club
Clubhaus Fitness Centers Inc. has leased 9,000 SF at 612 W. Dickson St. in Fayetteville.

Renovations and improvements will be made to the building, which was previously occupied by Hobby Lobby and Piggly Wiggly. Proprietors Stuart and Loyd Walker plan to open a fitness club in the space. The club will feature bike rentals, personal fitness programs, cardio and strength equipment and two group exercise studios. Other amenities will include locker rooms with steam rooms and massage services, a smoothie bar and computer lounge.

The club has a planned opening of September 2009.

Clubhaus Fitness will follow the sustainable design standards set forth in the LEED for Commercial Interiors rating system. Once certified, Clubhaus Fitness will be one of the only privately-owned LEED certified health clubs in the United States.

Building owners are James V. Barnes, Terry J. Barnes and James P. Batcheller. Craig Hull, of Hull and Co., represented both parties in the lease transaction. The space was listed at $15 per SF.
