The U.S. Marshals Museum announces the 2nd Annual Safe Kids! event at Harry E. Kelley Park.

This signature event offers families the opportunity to bring their children for DNA Life Print kits, which include biometric fingerprinting, digital photograph, and DNA swabbing. The kits are designed to last for years and help in the event a child goes missing.

In addition, area law enforcement agencies, organizations dedicated to the safety of children, and corporations will also be on hand to teach children important skills such as how to properly use 911, electrical safety, and how to safely exit a burning building.

Safe Kids! offers children and parents the opportunity to meet representatives from multiple agencies, learn ways to protect themselves, and learn how to talk about difficult topics–all in one location.

Hot dogs and chips will be provided by Arvest Bank from 11a to 2p.

Al Lopez aka “Papa Rap”will perform at 11a and 1p. Al lives in Springdale and his show, “What’s Up! Que Pasa?” airs on Fox stations across the country. “Papa Rap” uses music to help people find common ground to work together as human beings from planet earth. His lyrics focus on the importance of open communication and education and touch people of all ages.
