Two from Fort Smith appointed to state boards

Fort Smith City Director Gary Campbell and Charles Wohlford were two of 28 appointments and reappointments to state boards and commissions announced Monday (Mar. 2) by Gov. Mike Beebe.
Campbell was appointed to the board of the Arkansas Science and Technology Authority. His term expires Jan. 14, 2013.
Wohlford, with Wolf Exploration in Fort Smith, was reappointed to the Arkansas Oil & Gas Commission. Wohlford’s term expires Feb. 20, 2015.
Carolyn Pollan, the former State Rep. from Fort Smith who had served on the Oil & Gas Commission, was replaced at the end of her term by Chris Weiser of Magnolia, according to the Monday statement from the governor’s office.
