Met Bank Shakes Up Senior Management

Metropolitan National Bank of Little Rock announced March 3 it had hired James Stobaugh as president of its Northwest Arkansas region and as the president of Washington County.

Wyley Elliott, who had been the president for the Northwest Arkansas region and Benton County, will remain president of Benton County.

Larry Olson, who had been the president of Washington County, will now be the bank’s senior vice president, loan review manager and will work out of Little Rock.

In a press release about the change, the bank said, “In his new role with Metropolitan, Stobaugh will oversee all operations of the bank for Washington and Benton counties in northwest Arkansas. Stobaugh has more than 30 years of experience in banking, including previous service as President of Bank of America in Northwest Arkansas and as Head of Commercial Lending at Bank of America for the entire state of Arkansas.

The bank also said it had promoted Lynn Dorrough as executive vice president and chief financial officer.
