If your politics are of the conservative bent, then Rachel Marsden has a Top 10 list that will make your day, if not your week, a little lighter.

Writing at Townhall.com, Marsden brings us the “Top 10 Political Stories To Watch For In 2009,” which includes a note that the media will ensure that “everyone will be expected to understand that it’s still all George Bush’s fault.”

Highlights of Marsden’s list includes:

• Barack Obama and the media:
The marathon makeout session between President Barack Obama and the mainstream media will continue – in Bill Clinton’s former hotel room, better known as the Oval Office.

• Vaclav Klaus does the EU:

When asked if it was “ruining our planet”, he replied, “Perhaps only Mr. Al Gore may be saying something along these lines: a sane person can’t.”

• Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad:
Will say something inflammatory, the world will react. Wash, rinse, repeat once a month — until he actually drops a nuclear bomb on something in order to be taken seriously. Hopefully not this year, though.
