Bentonville Cosmetic Business Growing

It seems that even in a down economy people still want their skin to glow. Premier Dermatology and Skin Renewal Center is adding 2,300 SF to their Bentonville location to expand the cosmetic side of the business.

Administrator Jeff Clifton said with all of the Botox injections and laser treatments going on, the staff has basically run out of room.

“We’ve got three estheticians, a physician and a physician’s assistant, to have both the cosmetic and medical sides under one room, sometimes we’re stumbling over each other,” he said.

In April, the center purchased a Fraxel Repair Laser, which Clifton called the “big boy” of lasers. One treatment with the laser, he said, is the equivalent of about one-third of a facelift. It sounds like the Fraxel deserves a room of its own.

The move-in date for the new addition is anticipated for Dec. 1.

“The good thing about the dermatology business is everyone has skin and people want their skin to look nice,” Clifton said.
