Average days-on-market of area homes stays steady in 2008
The days on market of the average price home sold in Crawford and Sebastian counties during the first 11 months of 2008 remained steady despite a significant decline in the number of homes sold in the area.
Regional real estate sales for the first 11 months of the year show a 12% decline in the number of homes sold in Sebastian County and a 19.8% decline in Crawford County, according to a report released Dec. 30 by the Arkansas Realtors Association. The average-priced homes in Crawford County were on the market 120 days between January-November 2008, one day fewer than the same period in 2007.
The average-priced homes in Sebastian County were on the market 115 days between January-November 2008, five more days than the same period in 2007.
