Bank of Eureka Springs Becoming Cornerstone
The Bank of Eureka Springs will adopt its new name, Cornerstone Bank, as of Nov. 3.
The bank announced in May its plan to adopt a name more suitable for its planned expansion into areas outside Eureka Springs.
The bank reported about $84.6 million in deposits and $113.4 million in assets as of June 30, 2008.
The Bank of Eureka Springs also operates locations in Holiday Island and is building an 11,000-SF facility in Berryville. The new location will include meeting and rental space.
“The added convenience for [customers] and the prospects for additional growth within our company are very encouraging,” Charles T. Cross, president and chief executive officer of the bank, said in a news release.
