Jason Carter likes to give his customers options.
At the end of 2007, Carter left his position with ENG Lending in Fayetteville, and teamed-up with fellow ENG lender Stephen Green to start Simply Home Lending LLC, an independent full-service mortgage brokerage service.
Simply Home Lending is not owned by a major mortgage lender, which means Carter and the office’s six other lenders can shop home buyers’ lending profiles with multiple mortgage companies. As a result, homeowners are given the opportunity to compare the daily rates of all of the country’s largest lenders.
Carter said the office, which is located above The Flying Burrito Co. on Spring Street in Fayetteville, operates in conjunction with a sister office in Texas. The partnership allows the two firms to package their mortgages to land better rates for customers.
Carter said the company aims to generate $4 million in new mortgages each month.
Simply Home Lending does not service any of the loans it originates.
