Dixie Development’s former president and chief operating officer seems to be going the way of some embattled Northwest Arkansas builders.

According to court filings, Marla Webb filed for Chapter 13 bankruptcy protection in Fayetteville’s Federal Bankruptcy Court on May 8.

The documents show Webb owed more than $219,000 to multiple creditors. The IRS, American Express and Capital One Auto Finance, which cites financing of the Webb’s Jaguar, toped the list.

Webb started working for Dixie when she was still a student at the University of Arkansas. By 2002 she was named chief financial officer and appointed COO in 2003.

We don’t know the timeline of Webb’s departure from Dixie but in a September 2007 Northwest Arkansas Business Journal article, Dixie CEO Ben Israel said Webb “consults” for the company but is no longer involved in the day-to-day operations.
