TDS Extends Reach Into New Markets

Tim Stanley, owner of Xerox dealer Total Document Solutions Inc. in Fayetteville, will be expanding his reach into southwest Missouri and southeast Kansas.

He recently worked out a deal with Xerox and Xerox agent Eddie Silky, who had previously served the two regions. Silky had decided he wanted to focus his efforts on his business in the Tulsa area.

It’s a big opportunity for TDS, which should reach annual sales of more than $4 million with the addition of the two new markets, Stanley said.

“These agencies don’t change over very often,” he said, adding that he is only the second Xerox agent to serve Northwest Arkansas, and only after the first agent retired.

Stanley will be relocating Donnell Lawler, his top customer care representative, from Russellville.

Lawler will head up a new office, which will probably open in or near Joplin some time during the fourth quarter of 2008.

TDS will eventually employ about three people at the new office.

Lawler has worked for TDS for nearly four years, Stanley said.

Xerox also recently selected TDS to be a platinum agency, one of 39 from among the 500 agents in the country.
