Web Site Highlights Real Estate Deals

Jerry Dou, a Realtor and senior vice president with Coldwell Banker Faucette Real Estate, isn’t one to stay tight-lipped about real estate deals and amazing finds.

Dou, in cooperation with Tim Lee, president of Revolution Technologies LLC, recently launched NWAFiresale.com, a Web site showcasing some of the best real estate deals on the Northwest Arkansas housing market.

The site features foreclosed and bank-owned properties that have been discounted to move quicker.

Dou said he used to track foreclosed and bank-owned property on other Web sites and decided to create a site that was easy to use and specific to Northwest Arkansas.

Dou hand-selects all properties on the site and only posts those that are truly good deals.

The Web site is linked to the Northwest Arkansas multiple listing service and updates prices, status and information about the properties every 60 minutes.

Dou said he receives five to six e-mails and several calls every day from buyers interested in a property on the fire sale Web site.

Lee’s company also recently rolled-out i-Plat, a new technology that allows buyers to see all of the lots in a subdivision and indicates which lots are sold, for sale and which lots have homes under construction. The site is also connected to the Northwest Arkansas MLS and is updated every 60 minutes.

By clicking on the parcel, potential buyers can learn the price, size and MLS number of each lot. I-Plat is running on the Liberty Bell Estates subdivision Web site.
