Wal-Mart Exec has Budding Brilliance
In their first ever “Brilliant!” Issue, Conde Nast Portfolio editors laid out their picks for the biggest brains in today’s international business world.
The magazine profiled 73 power players and put them into categories such as game changers, rebels and tastemakers.
Wal-Mart Stores Inc. CEO Lee Scott received a mention from the editors and while he wasn’t listed as one of the industry’s biggest players, that honor went to the likes of Jamie Dimon of J.P. Morgan Chase and Rupert Murdoch, Scott did make the list as an upstart.
The magazine applauded Scott’s positive impact on the nation’s health care market and editors also extended kudos to the retailer’s sustainability push.
