Erik Weihenmayer Leadership Event
World-class athlete, nationally acclaimed motivational speaker, Erik Weihenmayer will present a corporate leadership training luncheon at the Holiday Inn City Center, May 16, 2008, as part of a three-day visit to Fort Smith. Erik, the first blind mountain climber to summit Mount Everest and The Seven Peaks, will be a guest of Comprehensive Juvenile Services, Inc. to keynote The Fort Smith Youth Leadership Summit May 17. A much sought after corporate speaker, Erik's presentations include Bank of America, Procter and Gambel, Wal-Mart, Google, Merrill Lynch, and GE. Erik will share his inspiring story of "touching the top of the world" in spite of impossible odds and adversity. ExCEL, a well-known leadership development program of the University of Arkansas, will present a mini teambuilding and leadership seminar as part of the luncheon presentation.
