Food Industry Restaurateurs Open Kitchen Supply Store

After more than a year of talking and planning, three restaurateurs are opening a new restaurant supply store in Springdale.
Doug Allen, the owner of Jose’s in Springdale, Joe Fennel, the owner of Bordino’s in Fayetteville and Doug Robbins, who has 23 years of experience in the restaurant supply industry, are co-owners of Northwest Arkansas Restaurant and Kitchen Supply, located at 5320 W. Sunset Blvd. in Springdale’s Ozark CenterPoint Place.
The store, which will be open to the public, will sell a variety of restaurant-quality utensils and equipment ranging from pans and utensils to stove tops, ice makers and popcorn machines.
Fennel said the trio plans to target at-home cooks who want high-quality products as well as restaurants, daycares, nursing homes and schools, which use a variety of kitchen utensils on a daily basis.
The store will carry WearEver pots and pans and will have a large selection of everyday small-wear items in stock.
Customers will also be able to custom order products.
Allen said they hope to have the store open to the public the week of Feb. 18.
