The award-winning taste of Whole Hog Café is coming to Fayetteville’s Fiesta Square. Owners Brian Adams and Kevin Jacobs are targeting a Sept. 1 opening to take advantage of Arkansas Razorback football season, the return of college students and Bikes, Blues & BBQ in October.

The pair, who manage the popular Whole Hog location in Bentonville, will also run the Fayetteville location, which will be similar in size at around 5,800 SF.

The Fiesta Square spot will seat around 200 and employ 15 to 16 people with around six full-time, Jacobs said.

Whole Hog Cafe, which has won several awards, including the prestigious Memphis in May World Championship in 2002, was founded in Little Rock by partners Ron and Mike Blasingame and Mike Davis in 2000.

Jacobs and Adams opened in Bentonville in 2005.

“We were going to start in Fayetteville,” Jacobs said. “But we couldn’t find a location that we liked.”

According to Bentonville tax records, Whole Hog had sales of more than $840,000 during 2006.
