Three Join Gray Matters

Katie Stockstill began working as an assistant editor for the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal on Aug. 6. Gray Matters LLC of Springdale is the parent company for the Business Journal.

Stockstill was formerly a staff writer and editor for The Morning Sun of Pittsburg, Kan., a daily paper where she covered general assignment news.

Among other things, Stockstill will be covering the real estate beat for the Business Journal.

“I’m excited to have Katie on board,” said Worth Sparkman, editor. “She’s got a lot on the ball and I’m impressed with her tenacity already.”

Serena Munns also started with the company on Aug. 6, as a brand strategist for the company’s special publications, which include the Northwest Arkansas Newcomers Guide and the Northwest Arkansas Guest Guide.

Munns was an account executive for two years with Arkansas Business Publishing Group in Little Rock.

On Aug. 20, Chelsea McClung began with the company as an operations assistant.
