KNWA Coverage Runs on Empty

While we certainly admire the tenacity with which KNWA-TV, Channels 24/51 has pursued the cause of high gas prices in Northwest Arkansas, it’s hard to fathom any greater good achieved by harassing clerks, driving to remote pipeline locations, tailgating tanker trucks or burning up a tank of gas to test fuel injector cleaner (especially without mentioning checking tire pressure or changing air filters as more practical ways to help fuel economy).
As long as KNWA is looking up the bottom end of the supply chain, maybe it should investigate itself for the kind of wasteful fuel consumption that’s the biggest cause of high prices everywhere, not just in our corner of the state.
