The University of Phoenix — Northwest Arkansas has graduated its first class of MBAs.
In a ceremony at the university’s Little Rock campus on May 12, nine MBA students from the Northwest Arkansas campus in Rogers walked across the stage.
Luke Campbell, campus director, said he was excited to see the students make it through the program. He said it also shows the community that the university is successful.
“That truly is the goal of this campus — graduation,” he said.
Behind those nine students, the campus has 30 more students now enrolled in its MBA program. The program comprises 13 classes for 39 credits, which cost $399 per credit. Students take one six-week class at a time, but some courses may be waived for those with business undergraduate degrees.
The Northwest Arkansas campus opened in November 2005. Total enrollment at the campus has surpassed the 300 mark, Campbell said.
