University Airlines Inc. of Bentonville is in a great situation.
CEO Kevin Clark said the company, now working with 37 universities, has more business than equipment to handle it all.
University Airlines has received four of the 96 Prevost H3-45 motor coaches it has ordered worth $410,000 each.
The company has been forced to outsource some of its work as it waits for the arrival of the coaches.
University Airlines said its air service also is waiting on the wings. The company had an existing order in with Airbus for 30 A320 aircraft, but recently added five of the larger A321’s to its order, for a total of 35 aircraft.
With a few more months of certification ahead of them, plus waiting for the planes, Clark said he anticipates having flights ready in October or November.
