Readers may remember a Jan. 1 Whisper about the Ozark Mountain Smokehouse in Bentonville being converted to an event center.
At the time, owners Boyce Billingsley Amini and Dario Amini weren’t sure if the new concept for the 7-acre farmstead would be popular.
But the duo, through their DCA Investments LLC entity of Bentonville, recently incorporated the business as Hidden Springs Event Center after receiving plenty of early bookings.
“We have about 12 events booked so far,” Dario Amini said.
Dario Amini said Wal-Mart Stores Inc. vendors have hosted presentations at the 1,000-SF house he believes was built around 1904. There also are weddings, birthday parties and private parties scheduled.
Prices range from $500 to rent the house for a half day to $2,200 to use the entire property. All the bookings are made through Eventures Party Rentals in Fayetteville.
