Razorback Auto Auction Changes Hands

After 23 years as owner, Mike Jeffcoat sold the Razorback Auto Auction in Rogers to CCTD&J LLC of Rogers for $1.2 million on Jan. 5.
John Lawrence, the registered agent of the LLC, partnered with local businessmen with construction ties who prefer to remain anonymous.
Lawrence said his LLC bought the land, covering a little less than five acres, as an insurance policy because it is in a growing area, but future plans are for the location to remain an auto auction.
The building is currently being “brightened up,” and Lawrence said he has already seen an upswing in business. He said his group plans to grow the business with more specialty auctions for boats, RVs, classic cars and heavy equipment.
