Forty Under 40: Bryan Robert Most
Bryan Most loves riding his Harley-Davidson, but his passion is the sea.
Or, more specifically, what travels it.
After five years with Sea-Land Service, an American ocean carrier and logistics provider, Most joined Wal-Mart in 1999 as manager of ocean services with the assignment to create strategic ocean solutions and form long-term partnerships with suppliers.
He was promoted to his current position in 2004 with the world’s largest importer and now handles the tactical planning of all logistics execution.
Long intrigued by global commerce, the Quakertown, Pa., native joined Sea-Land after graduating in 1995 from College Misericordia in Dallas with a degree in business administration.
Most has crossed both oceans many times over and counts the relationships he has developed and the cultures he has learned from among the highlights of his career.
Instilled by his family with a strong work ethic and a desire to make a difference in the world, Most found Wal-Mart’s core values mesh with his.
Motivated to set a good example for his newborn daughter, Most is active as a volunteer coach and a supporter of several local charities including the Children’s Shelter of Northwest Arkansas and Horses for Healing.
