Model homes in the Stone Meadows subdivision are set to open on Dec. 17, but a real estate firm has not been selected to sell the homes.
Palmco Properties LLC, which is headed by John Alford, is developing the 42-acre subdivision that includes 258 homes ranging in size from 1,200 SF to 1,400 SF and in price from $129,000 to $149,000. There will be a clubhouse, pool and meeting room on the property that’s located between state highways 12 and 102 in Bentonville.
Cobblestone Homes is building the maintenance-free, patio-style houses and the total construction cost is estimated at $38.9 million.
Palmco also recently purchased another piece of property between state highways 12 and 102.
The exact acreage was not disclosed, but Palmco obtained a loan for $1.5 million from First Arkansas Valley Bank in relation to the purchase.
