Three investors, under their Milver Enlow Lester LLC entity of Fayetteville, paid Sheila and Ray Threet $400,000 on Oct. 16 for a waste management company in Highfill.
Tate Business Brokers of Lowell brokered the deal.
The purchase of Threet Waste Management included six trucks and the group, which currently is using the old facility. There are plans to relocate somewhere in Highfill in the near future.
MEL is comprised of David Enlow, Burt Box and Benjamin Lester. Enlow will serve as the operating manager for the company, which includes seven employees and 2,300 customers, mostly residential rural routes.
“We want to maintain and build our residential, but we have plans to expand into commercial at the first of the year,” Enlow said.
