Shanks Purchases Logoworks Company

Stephen Shanks is the new owner of three Logoworks Inc. printing shops in Northwest Arkansas. He purchased the company for an undisclosed amount on Sept. 25 from the family of Michael Shassere, who recently passed away.
“With my background and the opportunity to buy an established business, it’s was just too good of an opportunity to pass up,” Shanks said.
After graduating from the University of Arkansas with a marketing degree in 1994, Shanks spent four years with Phillips Litho in Springdale and seven years with the advertising agency that is now known as CJRW/Northwest in Johnson. He then spent 18 months with Malone Advertising Inc. in Bentonville before purchasing LogoWorks.
Logoworks, which has locations in Fayetteville, Rogers and Springdale, specializes in placing company logos on signs, banners and decals. It also handles vinyl lettering, digital printing, promotional products, and embroidered and silk-screened apparel.
“We do everything well,” Shanks said. “But customer service is what we pride ourselves on.”
