Warrior of Arkansas Inc., opened the doors to its new industrial John Deere location at 3838 Wagon Wheel Road earlier this summer.

“Sales have been real good,” said Wendell Bridges, branch manager. “We’ve been real busy. I attribute that a lot just to the new building.”

He was unable to make sales comparisons since the new location dwarfs the location in Rogers. The old location measured about 10,000 SF while the new facility, which came at a cost of about $5 million, is about 45,000 SF and sits on 15.5 acres. Warrior had been looking for a new location and bought land twice before finally settling at the current spot.

“The biggest advantage of it is that 90 percent of our business is done in Washington and Benton County,” he said. “Wagon Wheel Road sits right on the county line, and half of our business is south of us and half of our business is north of us.”

The extra space of the new dealership allows Bridges more room for inventory. The store carries large equipment such as backhoes, excavators and dirt scrapers. There is also a line of construction work site products that includes skid steer loaders, compact excavators and compact track loaders. But Bridges said customers most often come in for dozers.
