Mathias Clears Property

We’ve been hearing for weeks that James Mathias could be planning a large-scale project near the intersection of Arkansas Highways 279 and 12 in Vaughn, just north of the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport.

Mathias, owner of Mathias Rentals, admitted he has been clearing land for the past few weeks around the 84-unit apartment complex he owns at 7800 S.W. Bluejay Lane. However, he dispelled any talk of a substantial project being planned there.

“There’s some old houses there that I’m just getting around to tearing down, so you can get a better view into our property,” Mathias said. “We’ve cleaned them up so we can do a commercial project later on, but nothing right now.”
