PRSA Names Williams Professional of Year

The Northwest Arkansas chapter of the Public Relations Society of America announced in July that it had named Mona Williams as public relations professional of the year.
Williams has been vice president of corporate communications for Wal-Mart Stores Inc. in Bentonville since July 2002.
PR Week magazine has ranked Williams’ role as one of the “10 Most Daunting PR Jobs” and also included her on its short list of “People We Love.”
Williams spent 11 years in public relations at AT&T before coming to Wal-Mart.
