Exit Pinnacle Realty in Rogers is quickly expanding. In only its second month of business, the company has grown to 30 agents and is expecting to have 50 agents in its net within the next month.

Perhaps the biggest catch was luring Marcella Hagan on Aug. 2 from Re/Max Real Estate, the Bentonville company she founded 11 years ago. In 2005, Hagan was No. 38 in the state in gross sales for residential agents with an individual volume of $15.96 million while her company was No. 5 in Northwest Arkansas with a sales volume $268.9 million.

Cameron Torabi, another former Re/Max employee, bought the Exit Realty franchise in Rogers in May. He said Exit’s ability to offer agents a better commission structure and health insurance while not charging a desk fee is what’s luring in agents. The insurance benefits come through a partnership with Alltel Financial in Georgia.

There also are residuals where people who refer agents to the company earn a commission on that Realtor’s sales.

“Our goal is to be No. 1 in Northwest Arkansas in 18 months,” Torabi said.

In terms of sales volume, the top real estate companies in Northwest Arkansas last year were Lindsey & Associates Inc. ($704 million), Harris McHaney Realtors ($487 million), Coldwell Banker Faucette Real Estate ($374 million) and Griffin Co. Realtors ($296.3 million).

Exit Pinnacle Realty already is off to a solid start with nearly $32 million in listings in July.
