Two Washington County community banks have new chief financial officers.

Legacy National Bank of Springdale recently hired Randy Blanton as its CFO. Blanton was the CFO for The Bank of Fayetteville for 14 years.

“I think they’ve got a great opportunity,” he said about LNB, because the bank has a “hometown approach.”

On Aug. 3, The Bank of Fayetteville hired a new CFO. But on Aug. 9, the person changed their mind due to family obligations.

Mary Beth Brooks, president and CEO of BOF, said she will continue to look at candidates for the position.

LNB had total assets of $136.0 million as of March 31, up 526 percent from $21.7 for the same period a year earlier.

BOF had total assets of $378.7 million, up 3.4 percent from $366.2 million a year earlier.
