5-Star Productions Wins Most Gold Addys in FS

Fort Smith-based 5-Star Productions won the most gold 2005 awards from the Fort Smith Advertising Federation. The video production firm won four gold and three silver awards. The FSAF sponsored the Addy awards banquet on Feb. 25.

Other Addy winners were:

• Advertising Plus of Fort Smith won three gold and four silver awards, as well as a special judges’ award for interactive media and a best of show award for electronic media.

• Williams/Crawford & Associates of Fort Smith won three gold and one silver award and a special judges’ award for its University of Arkansas-Fort Smith campaign.

• Sparks Health System won two gold and one silver award, as well as a best of show award for its “Woman to Woman Program Book.”

• MMC Studios and 777 Productions, both of Fort Smith, and Lucid Moon Productions of Van Buren each won one gold award.

• Chad Jones won one gold award and that entry also was given a special judges’ award.

• The U.S. Marshal Service Museum Steering Committee won one silver award.

Three UAFS students also won awards for student entries. Jeremy Harris won two gold awards; Tricia Sitar won a gold and a silver award; and William Vansell won a silver award.
