Key & Associates Realtors in Hiwasse recently signed a Century 21 franchise agreement. The firm hopes to convert officially into a Century 21 operation by July, said La Veta Key, principal broker and owner of Key & Associates.
It also marks the first time a national real estate franchise has had an office in Hiwasse.
Key said signing on with a national real estate franchise will give the firm a better chance at referral business, agent recruitment and retention.
There are at least five existing Century 21 franchises in Benton and Washington counties. Another Century 21 franchise called El Paseo Century 21 will open in Rogers in April, said Mike West, franchise sales director for Arkansas and Oklahoma Century 21.
West said Century 21 retains 35 percent of the real estate market worldwide.
