Pettus Dickson Street Property Sells to Barber Group for $5 Million

Brandon Barber and Seth Kaffka of The Barber Group have finally closed on a prime piece of property on Dickson Street. We knew it was under contract for a while because we had seen a filing with the Fayetteville Planning Department that pertained to the purchase.
Kaffka and Barber of Lynnkohn LLC bought the five different parcels of land from Lamar and Donna Pettus on Jan. 31 for about $5 million.
The purchase includes the building on the southwest corner of Dickson and Block streets that previously housed Something Urban, a retail store. The purchase also includes the Pettus Law Firm building, a parking lot between the two structures and the lot behind Pettus Law Firm.
From what we can figure, that’s about $75 per SF for the 1.57-acre property.
We hear a hotel is planned for the site, but nobody would verify that for us.
