Kenny Tomlin is an innovator in the age of technology.

After spending two years working for American Business Innovations and Electronic Data Systems, both in Dallas, he started I-Soft, an interactive software and Web development company in Dallas. At the age of 25, Yahoo! listed his Web site, CustomGolf.com, as one of the 10 best e-commerce sites in 1998.

The dot-com boom in the 90s helped him focus on Web marketing, which was perfect timing for him.

In 1999, Tomlin sold I-Soft to a private investor, and in 2001, with interest from Wal-Mart Stores Inc., he moved to Northwest Arkansas where his parents live. He worked as an architect for the SamsClub.com Web site and helped launch other Web products for the company.

Tomlin decided to go back to being an entrepreneur, and in 2005 started Rockfish Studio, an interactive design and communications firm. The company merged with McIntosh Group of Fort Smith in 2006 and formed Rockfish Interactive.

A Kansas City, Mo., native, Tomlin received a bachelors degree in communications and political science in 1995 from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Mo., and a decade later received a masters degree in theology from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Ky.
